OFSAA medallist has eyes on bigger prizes

Stouffville SecondaryWhen Greg Barker prepared to make his debut at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations track and field championships in Sudbury last week, he wanted to perform to the best of his ability, establish personal best results and reach the medal podium.The Grade 9 Stouffville District Secondary School student did just that.As one of the favourites to medal in the midget boys’ discus, Barker had a personal best toss of 43.53 metres.That effort enabled Braker to claim the bronze medal in Friday’s competition.
