Bronze finish for Pirates

Any medal is a good medal from the all-Ontario high school track and field championships.

The TISS Pirates finished with one silver medal and three bronze medals from the three-day championships in Sudbury on the weekend.

On the final day of the championships, Pirates' Emma Norman grabbed a bronze medal in the senior women's 3,000-metre final before TISS earned a bronze in the open boys 4x400-metre relay race.

Those followed the silver medal for Chris Cauley in the senior boys high jump and the bronze medal for the Pirates in the 4x100 senior boys relay earlier in the championships.
